Privacy Policy

KidsWeatherWear ("the App", "we") is designed with privacy as a default. The App works without user accounts and we do not operate servers that collect or store your personal data.

Data stored on your device

The following data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to us:

• Child profiles you create (name, age group, clothing and shoe sizes, country, city)
• Wardrobe inventory status
• Playground tags and personal ratings

Deleting the App deletes this data.

Location

With your permission, the App uses your device location to:

• Fetch local weather via Apple WeatherKit
• Find nearby playgrounds via the OpenStreetMap Overpass API
• Resolve street names via Apple's geocoding service

Your coordinates are sent to these services solely to fulfill each request. We do not store your location, build location histories, or share location data with advertisers. You can use the App without location access by entering a city manually.

Third-party services

• Apple WeatherKit – weather data, subject to Apple's privacy policy
• OpenStreetMap Overpass API – playground data, subject to the OSMF privacy policy

Affiliate links

The App contains links to external retailers and second-hand marketplaces (e.g. Reima, Jollyroom, Tori.fi, Blocket). We may earn a commission on purchases made through these links. When you open such a link, you leave the App and the destination site's own privacy policy applies. No personal data is shared with these sites by the App; search keywords you type are included in the link URL.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not operate push notification servers.

Analytics

The App currently contains no analytics or tracking SDKs.

Website waitlist

If you join the waitlist on our website, your email address is used solely to notify you about the App's launch and is never sold or shared.

Children's privacy

The App is intended for use by parents and guardians, not by children. Child profile data you enter stays on your device as described above.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change. Material changes will be noted in the App's release notes.
